A delicious and easy recipe for baked feta pasta with the savory addition of turkey bacon, perfect for a comforting meal.

  • 1 block feta cheese
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the block of feta cheese in the center of a baking dish.
  3. Surround the feta with cherry tomatoes and pour olive oil over everything.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, basil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes over the top.
  5. Add the turkey bacon on top of the feta and tomatoes.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the feta is creamy and the tomatoes burst.
  7. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  8. Once the feta has baked, remove from the oven and stir everything together.
  9. Toss the pasta with the baked feta and tomato mixture.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon.
  • You can add spinach or arugula for extra greens.
