  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
  7. Layer diced apples on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes until set and lightly browned on top.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, sprinkle chopped nuts on top before baking.
  • Allow the bars to chill in the fridge for a few hours for best texture.
