Ingredients

  • 10 cloves of garlic
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  2. Add the garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the vegetable broth and add the bay leaf. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove the bay leaf and blend the soup until smooth.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper before serving.
