1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup fresh cranberries
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and salt.
Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
For the filling, combine cranberries, orange juice, vanilla, and cornstarch in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until cranberries pop.
Spread the filling over the baked crust and crumble the remaining mixture on top.
Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
