These cranberry crumb bars are a delicious and easy treat perfect for any occasion. With a buttery crumb topping and tart cranberry filling, they are sure to please everyone!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  5. For the filling, combine cranberries, orange juice, vanilla, and cornstarch in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until cranberries pop.
  6. Spread the filling over the baked crust and crumble the remaining mixture on top.
  7. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
