A rich and creamy soup that combines the flavors of lasagna with the delightful addition of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add ground turkey, cook until browned.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and cream, bring to a simmer.
  5. Add lasagna noodles and cook according to package instructions.
  6. Stir in ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses until melted.
  7. Season with Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  8. Crumble the turkey bacon on top before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground chicken for turkey.
  • If you prefer a thicker soup, reduce the amount of chicken broth.
