  • 4 strips turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onion, garlic, carrots, and celery until softened.
  3. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the egg noodles and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes.
  5. Add the shredded chicken, heavy cream, and thyme; stir until combined.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Top with crispy turkey bacon before serving.
