A delightful and comforting creamy chicken noodle soup with turkey bacon that warms the soul.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. Add onions, carrots, and celery to the pot. Sauté until soft.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the egg noodles and cook until tender.
  5. Stir in the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
