  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (lasagna noodles broken into pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  2. Add chicken ham, onion, and garlic, sautéing until onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, pasta, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, or until pasta is cooked.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Let it melt and combine.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
