- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup pasta (small shapes recommended)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
