Delicious and creamy spinach ricotta stuffed shells, perfect for a comforting meal.

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Fill each cooked shell with the ricotta and spinach mixture.
  5. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce and the rest of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can include herbs like basil or oregano in the filling.
  • Serve with garlic bread for a complete meal.
