  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the flank steak with garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. In a bowl, combine diced avocado, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice to make the salsa.
  6. Warm the corn tortillas briefly in the skillet.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak on the tortillas and topping with avocado salsa.
