A delicious and simple recipe for a green bean casserole with a twist using turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup French fried onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine green beans, turkey bacon, chicken ham, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in half of the cheddar cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with remaining cheese and French fried onions.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

  • This casserole can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated.
  • For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
