- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
- 1 batch Bearnaise sauce
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add milk, cheese, bacon, and chives, stirring until just combined.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead gently. Roll out to about 1/2-inch thickness.
- Cut into desired shapes and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drizzle with Bearnaise sauce before serving.
